Blackened wings in the sKyeIt was dark, the only light source was the glare of the computer screen in the corner of the room. Kye had been sitting there for hours just staring at the glowing screen, pausing occasionally to drink from his glass before returning to the screen. Laying on the floor beside Kye's chair was an empty whiskey bottle, the fifth of the week. Alcohol, the source and solution to all of Kye's problems, if something went wrong for him at school or maybe with Kira, he would drift away, pour a drink and then his problems would melt away along with his cares and fears.
